This listing is for a vintage chalkware Dutch girl string holder. The back of her head is hollow to hold string which was then pulled through the mouth hole. There is a loop hanger at the back of her hat. Age has taken it’s toll a bit and she must have gotten in the way of a paint splash, but she has a peaceful expression that I just can’t explain. Her measurements are: Approx. 7\" length, from top of hat to bottom of face, Approx. 6 1/2\" width from hat curl to hat curl and Approx. 3\" in depth from back of the hat to the hair curls on her forehead.

This item comes from a non smoking home, however we do have pets.
