Description:

This is a neat old pair of wooden shoes. They have a scene of what looks like a windmill and buildings painted on the toes. Each shoe has a small hole in the side on the inside side (left side of the right shoe and right side of the left shoe). I am not sure what these are for, but I think you could run a cord through them to hang the shoes for decoration.

I have been told that in Holland they run a strong string through the holes so they can take the shoes off and hang them over their shoulders while walking.
