Vintage Eames Rosewood 670 671 Lounge Chair Herman Miller Old Style Clip Exc For Sale

Up for sale is a
beautiful vintage Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair, model 670 and 671.
It has Brazilian rosewood, with gorgeous rich grain. The chair and
ottoman are both in black leather and have a wonderful patina. Herman
Miller tags are still present on the chair, though the paper labels seem
to have faded over time. The chair still has remnants of the paper
labels and the full black label, while the ottoman has the full paper
labels beneath it. The chair came from the home of a successful
physician.
Condition
of the cushions are lovely, with minimal wear. The backrests are just
about perfect and there are no tears on any of the cushions. The
Brazilian rosewood has a couple of very minimal scratches, which simply
look like they may have bumped into something else at one point in time.
The
shock mounts are in great shape and the chair still holds strong,
without the leaning that can be found with other chairs that have
failing mounts.
The
buyer may pick up the chair, have it shipped by me (buyer will pay for
full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss
potential delivery within reason following the end of the sale. The
listed shipping cost is an estimate, though I can likely stay below that
number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can
discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and I will make sure that it is
as inexpensive for you as possible. I work with a shipper locally who has great prices and has been complemented with every piece of furniture I've shipped.If
shipping is desired, I have a box ready and will disassemble the
chair/ottoman for safety and to prevent potential damage. Because of the
brilliant design of the chair, it can be reassembled with a screw
driver and five minutes of time. If
