Foryour considerationis this very beautiful ADVENTCANDLE HOLDERfrom Germany.It is an unique art work, hand crafted from wood and hand painted. It features 4 candle holders for the 4 Advent candles and one large angel in the centre of it. The angel in the middle has two faces, front and back.Thisrare item was made in the Erzgebirge region of the former East Germany.

For those of you, who are not familiar with ADVENT candle holders: Each of the 4 Sundays before Christmas an additional candle will be lit until the Sunday before Christmas (the 4th Advent) when all 4 candles are lit.

TheAdvent candle holderis complete and ingreatcondition, apart from somewax residue in the holders. Remember this item is vintage and shows some signs of use.

Nice addition toyour Erzgebirge collection!This is rare and does not come by very often. It is marked with the red Erzgebirge/Expertic label.

Size: 20\"wide and9 1/4\" tall to the top of the angel.
