At sale is a Professional replacement cable for the Electro-Voice 642, 655C, 666, 666R, 668 and some early RCA microphones. Thiscable fits the microphones direct with a NOS original Cannon UA-3-11 connector. The 20 ft. cable has a standard 3-pin XLR connector on the mixer/amplifier end. The popular broadcast quality EV 666 & 655C and other mics use the extremely scarce UA-3-12 connector on the microphone which mates with the Cannon UA-3-11 connector on the microphone cable. This 20 foot cableis made from an8mm Diameter,Premium,High-Flex, low-noise cable,with a NOS Cannon UA-3-11 microphone connector and a heavy-duty,genuine SwitchcraftXLR Maleplug. The cable has 16AWG Oxygen-free copper conductors with a braided copper shield and one drain wire providing 97.5 Percent shielding (see Photo 4). The male XLR plug fitsvirtually allmodern microphone mixers. Thecable is wired for the modern convention of Pin 1 as Shield or Ground, Pin 2 as Audio Plus (+) and Pin 3 as audio Minus (-) on the XLR pins. The cable is warranted for 90 Days against defects in materials and workmanship.
