Gorgeous antique American Pottery/porcelain handled gold leaf handled decorative candy, nut dish/serving bowl or display.
White porcelain base with a gold overlay accented with a floral pattern as shown in close-up photos #8-9.
Measures 8\" X 7\" wide and 3\" tall with handle. Piece is in absolutely excellent & clean condition with
NO gold loss and NO cracks, chips or damage of any kind. Marked on the bottom with either a \"1161\" or \"1911\" depending
on how the bowl is oriented.
\"Wheeling Pottery Company of Wheeling, West Virginia, worked from 1879 to about 1923.
The firm went through a number of mergers and name changes during that time.
Pottery, semiporcelain, artware, and sanitary wares were made.
