Vintage Early Model 1904 U.S. Military Army Nose Bag or Feed Bag

Description

Here is a very nice specimen of the M1904 Nose Bag or Feed Bag. It is in excellent condition, with strong canvas body and legible U.S. Q.M.C. stencil on the front of the bag. All leather components and seams are intact. All leather is original to the bag and is soft and pliable, but should have a cleaning and leather dressing applied, like Pecard's Leather Dressing. There are 2 small 3/16 of an inch holes in the canvas, but hardly noticeable.

The U.S. Quarter Master Corps is the oldest logistics branch of the U.S. Army, established in 1775. They have been involved in every U.S. Military operation from the Revolutionary War to operations in Afghanistan.
