Here is a vintage Experitic Original Erzgebirge 16722 that was Made In German Democratic Republic. This is a handcrafted, four tiered German Nativity Carousel. It uses 6 candles, which are included, and when lit the heat turns the paddles on the top which spins the carousel. This Erzgebirge is apx. 21 1/2\" tall.

When this erzgebirge was made, a couple of the legs/feet are shorter that the rest so this erzgebirge can slant on one side unless you place a napkin or something else underneath the two legs. The erzgebirge will work either way. The lower tier has one fence that can be re-glued if you wish to do so. The 3 angels on the top tier are removable as well as the 12 fan blades, the spindle where they get installed, and the candle holders which rest underneath the base. ALSO, we have an additional 2 fan blades that are not pictured in our photos.

Overall this is a beautifulErzgebirge that works very well and makes a great display/conversation piece during the Holidays!
