Vintage Elgin hinged movement type open faced pocket watch.Watch is in decent cosmetic condition.Crystal has normal wear associated with a watch of this age.Case is good minus the back spots of plating loss pictured.Case is Elgin Nickel marked.The hands are VERY fine and fragile.The dial is in seemingly superb shape.Watch case measures 1 and 7/8 inches across.The winding stem will set the watch but pulls out entirely from movement.Will NOT wind.Will not run.Releasing movement is tricky but obviously possible as I have taken pictures of movement.Selling as a parts/donor/restore piece only.No returns.
