This sale is for a framed, vintage RIAA \"gold\" recordof a long-playingElvis Presleyvinyl album, \"Today\". The album, recorded in Hollywood in March 1975, marked the last time that Elvis would record in a studio. The album was released in May, 1975. Elvis Presley died on August 16, 1977. Thisframed record measures approximately 21 x 17 inches. It features a plaque which has a small representation of the album cover, and the words \"Presented to Sound Tracks Recording Studios to commemorate sales in excess of 500,000 copies\", and \"RIAA Certified Gold\".
The framed \"gold\" record is in very good vintage condition, with no real flaws or defects. The frame shows minor typical evidence of age and handling. The brown paper backing has a rip, but this is the side that faces the wall (if you hang it correctly).
