Beautiful vintage very detailed embossed brass over wood German trinket box from the early 1900s with detailed hunting scenes on all sides. The top depicts the forest with men and lady hunters holding guns and child tending to one horse, front and back of box depictstwo ladies, one man with birds and a dog and the sides 2men & one woman talking. Box is filled with detailed scrolls and other designsand still has the original light blue velvet lining. The bottom has the impressed mark Germany. Measures approximate: 4-3/4\"L x 3-1/2\"D x 2-1/2\"H and weighs 9oz. Cover opens and closes easily and it does show wear around the edges of the brass as seen in the picturesbut is not corrosion.
