This original Enid Collins wooden box handbag is a very rare design. It is titled \"Stinky\" under the sweet skunk which is holding flowers which has been hand painted on the front. It also has the C and horse logo on the front. This is quite small was likely a child\'s purse.It has a black plastic handle with brass hardware. The handle has some surface wear and scratching. There is some wear to the closure flap. It is black leather. The wooden exterior has wear. There are scratches and some gouges, particularly on the bottom corners. There is minimal loss to the paint.The hinge works cleanly (there are two little brass knobs at the bottom so you don\'t have to worry about sitting your purse in something icky). The interior is plain. This was heavily scribbled with crayon but we have been able to remove the worst of it. Please refer to the last picture.Closed, it measures approximately 6 inches wide, 4 1/2 inches tall (the handle adds another 2 inches) and 2 1/2 deep. While this does have some condition issues, this is still a treasure and a great, unusual piece to add to your collection.
