This is an sale for a lovely hand carved, hand paintedErzgebirge Expertic angel. It was hand crafted in the German Democratic Republic and is marked such on the bottom. This lovely seated angel is holding a star wand and has exquisite painting on her wings. She is 2 7/8\'s inches tall to the tip of her wand. Just look at that face!

Erzgebirge Expertic items are an excellent example of East German craftsmanship behind the wall. They were only made from 1968-1989 (when the Berlin Wall came down) and therefore are highly prized collectibles, and indeed, prime aspects of history.

This angel is only in \"Great\" rather than \"Excellent\" condition as the others I have, because the tip of her wand has separated from the lower paint and now spins. Easily repaired but I leave that up to you! Please see photos for state of the angel.
