An Outstanding 1970\'s or earlier Vintage Estate ZUNIMosaic Inlay Ring masterfully handcraftedfrom sterling silver (.925) and featuring a Beautiful Collection of Stones in a Geometric Stone-to-Stone Inlay pattern designed and created by well known Zuni artist couple,John Q. and Rosalie BOWANNIE! Being the son of Fred and Lula Bowannie, John had good teachers in the art of inlay. The couple are known for their specialization in mosaic and channel inlay, and have been recognized in numerous reference books and publications. Recognized as some of the finest among Zuni inlay artists, their work can be found in many Native American art collections. The couple was also featured in the Arizona Highways magazine in the late 1960\'s.

Ring Face is a large oval-shape and displays a StunningMulti-stone Mosaic Inlay, which consists ofTurquoise, Coral, Jet, andiridescent White and Gold-Lip Mother-of-Pearl! Each stone has a beautifully aged quality and color with some fascinating natural qualities.Each of the stones are meticulously hand cutand tightly set in a Handsome Stone-to-Stone Inlay pattern! This Beautiful Stone Collection is slightly raised in its shallow silver bezel, with a beautifully polished nearly flat surface and rounded beveled perimeter. A hand chiseled black oxidized line frames the Mosaic Inlay. Ring Face measures approximately 1\" long by 5/8\" wide, and thecontinuous wide Side Shanks gradually taper to a 1/8\" wide Ring Band under the finger. Ring ishallmarked \"J.R.B. ZUNI\" in large block letters, and is stamped\"STERLING\". Ring issize 11 and weighs a substantial 14.6 grams! Excellentpre-owned Estate Condition! Ring has a pleasing warmsilver patina. All stones are original and the Ring has been well preserved. A RARE find, this Mosaic Inlay Ring is an Extraordinary Vintage Zuni BOWANNIE Collectible!!!
