This is a beautifulhand painted oriental egg. There is a lady dressed up in a nice peach dress with some symbols and a black tree. She has a bow in her hair and a green type scarf around her waist.Looks like she is smoking a long, long pipe or cigarette? On the bottom is a writing but a lot of it is worn off. It partially reads love, beauty, and that the lady was the most beautiful girl in all the ????? All the princes in ????? asked for her hand in marriage, but she married a farmer for she....and the rest I can\'t make out. It also has some symbols on the bottom as well. Maybe you know the love story?? It is a footed design and the outside is gold and navy blue. The back is a green floral design and the inside egg sits on a black base. It has wear but the egg on the inside is undisturbed. A little dusty and needs a cleaning on the outside. Please offer accordingly to the photos you see.
