Just want to make sure all know what I mean when I put Vintage and Estate on a listing: Vintage is an item that is over 20 years old and Estate just means I purchased a used item at an Estate Sale and does not designate any age or time frame for the item. All items I purchase at Estate Sales are previously owned items so they will have some wear on them, some more than others.
I picked this pretty up at a recent Estate Sale I went to in Palm Springs - It was extremely humid that day and if I closed my eyes I could almost believe I was visiting Florida!!!! I lost 11 lbs water weight that day so it wasn\'t really a bad day. The home was actually a Condo of sorts - They were all one story and unattached, but all the same and shared yards and pools......Not bad looking but nothing to write home about. The person running the Estate Sale was sitting the entire time right next to the front door and on the table was all the jewelry so I really didn\'t go very far into that house, but it was interesting haggling the cost as I was looking and I spent more time trying to keep my face very calm so not to give away how much I wanted any item.....It didn\'t help that the door was open and I was sweating like a stuck pig!!!! I had high hopes in this home to find my first Squash Blossom Necklace but it was not to be, I found this lovely Ring right before I left and was so glad I stopped to look at it - It is Gorgeous!!!
This Ring consist of Sterling Silver with 3 stones, the Middle stone is a 6mm x 4mm Oval Faceted Madeira Citrine and on each side of the Center stone are 5mm x 3.5mm Oval Faceted Madeira Citrine all 3 4 prong set. This lovely has Spectacular Open Filigree Design all around the Girdle and Going down each Shank into the Band. The Band is a bit worn at the bottom but still in great shape for it\'s age. This Pretty weighs 2.4 grams, is marked 925 and is a size 7.
You need to wear something really light and airy with this pretty - I can imagine when it was made the woman who first wore it must of wore Mid thigh tight skirts with blousey tops with tight jackets :) Oh, and Red lips, you have to have red lips with this Ring :)
