The Gateway Arch is a 630-foot monument in St. Louis in the U.S. state of Missouri. Clad in stainless steel and built in the form of a flattened catenary arch, it is the world\'s tallest arch, the tallest monument in the Western Hemisphere, and Missouri\'s tallest accessible building. Built as a monument to the westward expansion of the United States, it is the centerpiece of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial and has become an internationally famous symbol of St. Louis.

FYI: it is not unusual for sterling charms to be unmarked from this era: many charms came unmarked on display sales cards that had the maker and metal info; as well as jewelry items under a certain weight did not have to be hallmarked.
FYI: Purity marks for older silver pieces can differ from those commonly seen today. For example, most Sterling Silver Jewelry up until the 1940s era was usually stamped “STERLING” or “STER” or “STG.” The “925” mark did not come into common use until later. Some makers continue to use the “STERLING” mark in place of “925” even today.
FYI: Rhodium is in the Platinum family of metals.  It was often used in the 50s-70s to plate sterling silver to avoid tarnishing,  In the Rhodium plating process, 925 Sterling Silver is given a nickel underplate prior to Rhodium plating.
