I\'m always looking for vintage AUSTRIA treasures like this Etruscan fob charm bracelet and earrings. Ibelieve this is c. 1930s, but it couldbe as late as late 1940s to early 1950s when some German and Austria companies began retooling and making jewelry instead of weapons. The Austria pieces -- the set is marked AUSTRIA on the earrings, indicating that this was made for export -- are getting hard to find! I know because I\'mlooking all the time. The mix of filigree wirework, multi-color faceted art glass stones, shapely charms (from the urns to the bell with clapper inside, and various pyramids) and patina makes this a fine example of the genre. This has a real plus -- somehowthrough the decades, the SEThas survived intact, so you have a bracelet AND a pair of matching earrings. These are clip earrings, and you can wear them as is, have posts put on them, or use the fobs on them as additions to this or any other bracelet. Your call. The bracelet -- a classic Etruscan rolo with smoothand twistedrope likelinks -- is easily adjustable by removing some of the rings and moving the charms; asshown, it measures is 8 1/2\" long by 3/8\" wide. To give you an idea of fobsizes, the chunky pyramid fobs (2 on the earrings, 1 matching fob on the bracelet) are about 1\" tall with bale and the bases are about 3/4\" x 3/4\". This has very nice patina, and the intricate filigreework in very good vintage condition.
