It has a 14kt gold nib . The pen color is sort of a brown burgundy color. The cap is stamped 1/10 14kt Y.G.F. I can\'t say if the pen works. I haven\'t tried. Don\'t know anything about these pens. I can tell you that where the cap screws onto the pen where the threads are it is cracked and a piece is loose. When you put the piece back in place the cap screws back on. Pen is sold as is. For either repair or parts. It measures approximately 5 1/4\" inches long. I don\'t ship outside of the U.S.A. Thank you.
