For your consideration: One vintage F. Fabbian of Italy ceiling suspended pendant style light fixture. I have never seen another commercial quality Fabbian fixture like this one. This stunning fixture has a 4 ½” brass ceiling base with a steel cable supporting the power cord that suspends the fixture approx. 4 feet from the ceiling. The suspension system is mated to a huge gorgeous glass conical shade approx. 24” in diameter. The heavy glass shade is approx. 7” in height. The glasswork is white, transcending to a clear peripheral band and finally accented by a sky-blue band along the perimeter. I included my I-phone (not included) in one of the photos for scale. This heavy piece weighs over 9 lbs. (thus the need for the steel cable)

Condition wise, it is in exceptional condition for the many years that has passed. The brass base has the slight and expected patina that attests to the age and adds to the character of the piece. There are no chips or cracks. The light socket itself is ceramic or porcelain, again verifying the age and commercial quality of this lighting work of art. Although it is a ceiling suspension fixture, I spliced a temporary power cord so you can see how magnificent it looks when illuminated and that it functions as intended. I used a small clear globe bulb but I believe a large white globe bulb would be more suitable....of course there are many possibilities. All that is pictured is all that is included.

I can visualize this unit in a restaurant, pub, or that special area in your home.

If you are in search of a cheap light-weight plastic modern fixture, this fixture may not be for you. However, if your remodel ideas or design style is after that special touch that screams quality and elegance, then please consider this Fabbian.
