Offered is a very heavy (4 lbs. 3oz.) vintage Fostoria American squat pitcher made of clear glasswhich measures 6 1/2\" in height by 8 3/4\" in width from the edge of the lip to the outside edge of the handle. This pitcher holds about one quart of liquid and has an ice lip which became popular in the 1940s when refrigerators started being equipped with freezer trays for freezing ice. A great piece of Americana!
