You are offerding on a vintage Firemans Axe Ax by BRADES, No:313 in good clean used condition.

Partially rubbed but clearly legible makers marks as shown in close up photo.

Pictures tell the story. This tool is in great shape, really sharp. Original steel strapping and rivets all good.

I have repaired the shake in the handle with epoxy and refinished in shellac.

Measures approx. 15\" long; head 7 1/4\" long; blade 2 1/2\" Sharp edge and point! 875g before packing.

Good very collectable and useable tool.

Royal Mail Standard Small Parcels are only covered for loss to a limit of £20 GBP; items above this amount up to a limit of £50 GBP must be sent Signed For or Tracked in order to be properly covered; above this amount there are extra charges as well. Full cover is in our opinion prudent for both the buyers and sellers mutual protection. There is no ‘partial compensation’ for under insured items. SF costs approx. £5.30 extra pro rata.

We are happy to ship without Signed For at buyers own risk and will require consent for this by email before shipping.

We will always obtain a written Proof of Posting Slip at this end but this is not trackable.

International buyers should be aware that any item that exceeds the 2kg Small Airmail Packet weight limit will be SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive to ship and they should take care to investigate these costs BEFORE offerding.

We are also happy to refund any postage costs that we have miscalculated once the item actually ships.
