For your consideration, I have a vintage Firestone thread kit from Jackley & Jones in Elwood, Indiana. This is made of Bakelite plastic. The lid has small chips around the edge. The spindle inside needs to be reglued back to lid. It measures 2-1/2\". Comes from a smoke free home.
