Vintage Forestville Art Deco Brass Anniversary Clock:

This vintage Anniversary Clock by the Forestville Clock Company of Germany features a brass frame with front and side glass panels and a brass rear wall that has a crosshatch decorative background facing the interior. The face has Arabic Numerals in an Art Deco font and is stamped \"2 jewels\" and \"Made in Germany\" The interior of the face is reflective. The back panel and the underside are both marked \"Forest Clock Co. 2 Jewels unadjusted, Made in Germany\"

The clock stands 10\"tall to the finial and is 7. 5\" wide x 5.25\" deep. Our research indicates the clock pattern was first used in the late 1950\'s through the early 1960\'s. We found no model number, so could not pin down a firm date. The Art Deco arch and designs throughout appear to confirm the time period.

Conditions: There are a few marks and scratches on the top, but the glass is relatively scratch free and appears to be original. The wire is intact and not kinked, but we were unable to balance or get a revolution. All the components appear to be intact and there does not appear to be any damage to the gear works or mechanisms to our untrained eye. A key came with it(not original) but we decided not to wind, for fear of over winding.
