These are definitely used coasters, so please look carefullyat photos. The gold paint is wornon the edges of most of the coasters and there are some possible manufacturer\'simperfections in the printing--on two coasters, the figures heads are slightlyoff register and on one they are blurred.But I have looked at these coasters on other websites and seen similar\"defects,\" so these might just be a function of the way they weremanufactured in the 60s. They aremarked on the back with the Fornasetti logo and \"Made Exclusively for SaksFifth Avenue.\" All thecoasters have small divets on the back that are a result of the ceramics orglazing process, but one mark is a little bigger than the others (seephotos). Lastly, there is a smallchip on the edge of one of the coasters (see photos). The set of eight coasters originally came inround cardboard container, but this set doesn\'t include the container.
