This is a Vintage Framed Japanese Wood Block Print.

The frame is about 14\" x 11\". The opening in the matte is 9 1/2\" x 6 1/2\".

The background has mountains. In the foreground a household caravan is just finished fording a river. Two people are being carried on litters, and there belongs are being removed from rafts and carried by their servants.

Condition

The print is in excellent condition. On the matte there is a very, very slight discolored area at the top. On the photo, this can be seen, highlighted, just to the left of the photo flash. In natural light, this is not noticeable at all. The frame has a few minor scuffs and scrapes on the wood as seen. There is a dust jacket and picture wire on the back. As found the dust jacket has tears along the top and there are some stains in that area as visit our store to view a wide variety of antique, vintage and contemporary items.
