Found at a recent sale is this vintage Frank M. Whiting sterling silver large wine coaster in very good condition with minor wearincluding a couple oftiny dings, a few light scratches and a tad of roughness on one of the raised rays inside the coaster. The coaster, which has a beaded trim and raised glass rays inside, measures 6 2/3 inches; the inside measurement for a bottle is 5 inches. The coaster looks good and is shiny and there is no rust from water under the rim which is often seem with these coasters. The words Frank M. Whiting Sterling 06 Pat. Pending are incised on the bottom. Nice addition to a sterling silver collection.
