Vintage French 950 Sterling Silver Teacup and Saucer; Stunning!!

Up for sale is a vintage French 950 sterling silver Teacup and Saucer by an unidentified maker. The teacup weighs in at a substantial 199.4 grams, and measures approximately 2 5/8\" tall by 3 1/2\" in diameter. The saucer weighs in at 145.1 grams and measures 6 1/4\" in diameter. The design of the teacup is centered around a large central engraving plate, which is decorated with swirling scrolls and stylized foliage. The remainder of the cup is adorned with a undulating shell band which begins 2/8\" below the top rim and flows into shallow, swirling grooves which extend downward. The design of the saucer centers around the same undulating shell band which is displayed on the cup. Both items are fully hallmarked; showing the Minerva\'s head guarantee for .950 sterling silver, as well as an unidentified makers mark in the typical diamond shaped lozenge. The cup is in fine vintage condition, showing no denting and only hairline surface scratches and light nicks; which are consistent with prior use. The saucer is in very good vintage condition, showing light hairline surface scratches and minor dings, as well as a very light degree of bending. This light bend gives it a slight \'wobble\' when resting on it\'s base. This is not distracting and could be easily professionally fixed. The bottom of both the teacup and saucer also show some very light numerical graffiti. The front engraving plate is monogrammed with intricate period script lettering, which is topped with a crown.
