Vintage French Original Creamy Painted Shabby Gilded Ormolu Curved Glass Curio:

Fabulously French Style 1950-1960 Curio just loaded with sweet romantic charm. This darling curio is painted in its original creamy off white finish with a faint gold wash. The entire curio is curved and decorated with gold with white accented metal ormolu in swag fashion. There is a carved leaf design on each side of the front glass and beading accented in gold around the top. There are 2 curvy drawers below and an open reticulated skirting all around the bottom..all four legs are curvy and decorated...there is scrolling ormolu all around the bottom section with center flower designed ormolu on the sides..a faceted crystal knob opens the curved glass door. In addition to having tiny brads or pins securing the glass front and sides, there is a thin gold rope covering..2 glass removeable shelves and the solid wood bottom which also showcases items. Has wonderful original paint decoration and is in great vi tage condition. There is a paint wear area on the top drawer which can be easily fixed if you want and there is a lined area that I have noted at door top right. The door area is probably not a crack and there is no instability. Both of these areas are shown in my last 2 photos. There is also a light inside which the original owner has run through the cabinet..nothing fancy but will light.
