Charming vintage pale aqua/green glass 1 litre Frenchcanning jar/bottle made byLA LORRAINE~ logo of a thistle is on the front side of the jar/bottle (below the embossed name) and on the lid.Closes/seals with a traditional attached metal hinge and wiremechanism around the lid andtop (no rubber interior seal included).A wonderful bottle/jar for display or to use as a vase.Very functional in any decor! No chips or cracks.The wire closure is a bit rusty as is normal due to the age (circa early 1900s). Measures 11.5 inches tall with a diameter of 3.5 inches. Glass is thick; some rippling and bubbles visible in the glass when held up to the light, which attests to the age.Originally made in the Alsace-Lorraine region of northeast France. Will be carefully wrapped and insured for shipping.
