For your French farmhouse decor, a charming and rare vintage metal birdcage in its original pale mint green paint, which is now a bit chippy with some minor surface rust due to age and use. Door on front side has hinge springs to open. Another little door on one side slides up/down to fill a feeding dish. Bottom tray slides out and a ring on top of the cage for hanging or carrying. Long ago was used to take small birds to sell at the open French marketplace. Great photo prop or display piece. Measures 11 inches by 7 inches; 11 inches tall. Circa very early 1900s.
