Very rare vintage Fukagawa porcelain statue/figurine. Man perhaps a wrestler??? Stands 61/2 inches tall. Measures 5 inches across at his widest. Vibrant orange hair and blue skirt. Fan is embellished with gold (24k)? Statue is glazed however the face is bisque. Bottom of piece bears the Fukagawa symbol of Mt. Fuji. Have not come across this item anywhere else!!! Condition is excellent. No chips or cracks whatsoever.
