In excellent condition as per age - this is a one of a kind hand burgundy genuine snake skin wrapped GEM Lift Arm Lighter - Burgundy Snake leather wrapped case with original hand crafted look the wrap it must have been barely ever used since restoration considering its age it is in outstanding condition ! This divine Art Deco period lighter is almost a century of age !! The lighter sparks great and the wick looks like it has a lot of use left in it ! The GEM is a thin light weight pocket lighter made in Providence Rhode Island circa 1920\'s ! This is a one of a kind hand crafted natural artistic rendition makes this piece a u inquest example of the GEM Genuine Art Deco period piece ! A wonderful fully functional Lift Arm Lighter !! I have owned many of these GEM Lift Arm Lighters but have never seen one that had such an wonderful Reptile skin wrap ! This is an American made lighter and this one must have remained in a secure location for decades as the lighter is fully functional and all original parts such as flint chamber screw & spring and fuel plug have remained fully intact some marks and wear as is to be expected with any metal object especially when it is over 100 years of age. The condition of this lighter is very good as it is a rare piece and considering that it was manufactured about a century ago it has retained its functionality and is in excellent working order ! This is a petrol wick lighter was obviously maintained extremely well considering its age and is a lighter that has truly withstood the test of time !
