There are many images so be sure to scroll down to view them of this vintage galvanized J. C. Chesterman Sheffield England 100 Foot surveysurveyor\'s chain that has 9 brass tags of which 3 are marked. We laid it out and measured it and made sure it was all okay and it is a 100\'. The handles are marked 100 FT and are brass. There are nine brass tags being two 1 point; two 2 point; two 3 point and two 4 point of which both of those are marked Chesterman Sheffield England; there is one center brass tag and it is marked Chesterman Sheffield Eng. The links are 10 1/2\" end to end and they are not welded. The first link is 7 1/2\". It has a lot of the original what looks galvanized to me finish with some rust on the rods. It looks a lot better than my images. I have not cleaned it and think it would clean up nicely. Buyer to pay $17.00 for flat rate medium priority shipping insured in USA.
