If you have ever seen old movies with this type of lamp at service stations or barns, you may have watched them sway in the wind as they hang down. If that is the case they were probably mounted on a fitting very similar to the one here. It came on the lamp and the whole rig was attached by way of a connector to a 12 foot T- arm 2\" galvanized pipe mast, which I still have. If you are interested in that please email, but it will be pick-up only! However, the shade and fitting are good to go through regular mail and this sale is for fixture, short rod and mount only. Metal socket/shade cap fitting \"Benjamin Electric Mfg. Co. Des Plaines, Ill.\" The swing fitting is in 2 parts, top clamp reads \"5799-B\" and has cast in-mold other side a cube-shaped logo with letters I can\'t read and the same number. The other end that attached to mast has a 3/4\" threaded pipe nipple. Bottom cup of fitting has \"F 12\" and \"A 20\" stamped in metal either side. Porcelain part of socket still present in shade and undamaged, but all metal parts of socket and metal sleeve around it are pretty corroded. Shade itself has paint fade, rust stain from metal cap dripping down cone but no dents, dings or actual rust to top. Inside there are 2 small circular rust areas but the rest fairly white and clean. I have done nothing aside from disassemble from mast and spray off with hose, presented as found. Shade is about 8\" tall to cap and 14\" widest diameter at rim. From rim upward to the top of the swing fitting it is about 18\" as you see it in first picture.
