hi, this is a beauty! carefully removed from the wall where it was working fine
it has been tuned up and/or repaired twice recently; the repair receipts are still on the back, 2005 & 2010
from the estate of a g.i. who had been stationed in post-war japan
a heavy, well constructed clock. w/the chimes and weights and chains, etc. this is over 5 lbs.
i took pix to show the cuckoo bird, and also the insides
note the happy bavarian couple on the front, an accordian player on the left, his dutiful and colorfully dressed wife on the right
a great, perfectly functioning clock, brought back from germany by a G.I. who\'d done his duty there (1945-1950 i\'m told)
