Vintage German Candy ContainerThis sale is for a really nice and very well made vintage candy container made from a bisque German doll. The doll has a felt snow suit and is riding a wooden sled. On the bottom of the sled it’s simply marked Germany. From the looks of this piece it must date to the mid-1900s and the body separates at the waist to reveal a candy container. Really nice and looks like a Heubach but I can’t see the back of the head of the doll without ripping away some of the clothes. Measures about 6.5” tall. Guaranteed as described! VERY good condition with some general wear. ALSO, the wood sleigh has come unglued at a couple spots since the photos was taken, so a little re-gluing of those pieces of wood is required. Very minor - I could do it here but I would rather the new owner do as they wish.
