Paper mache candy container. Approximately 6 1/2\" tall. Wonderful old German candy container in the form of a rabbit \"sailor\". Rabbit has brown face and ears, blue pants, white shirt in an old fashioned sailor design. Mr. Rabbit sports a jaunty blue sailor\'s cap on his head!The top and bottom of the container fit snugly. The interior of the container is covered in paper with a charming green floral pattern. The bottom of the container bears a stamped mark that is difficult for me to read due to the dark blue paint but I can make out the word \"GERMANY\".The container is in excellent, all original condition with no repairs, replacements or repaints; some scuffs and soiling to be expected with a candy container that is over seventy-five years old!
