Vintage German Thurnauer Primitive Wood 13\" Dough Bowl with Wood Masher Mallet
We are offering for sale this vintage primitive wood dough bowl and wood masher. The bowl is marked \"Thurnauer\" on the bottom and the masher is unmarked. I\'m not sure if these items came as a set but they were together when we purchased them at an estate sale so that is how we are selling them. They probably date to about the 1920\'s/30\'s.
The bowl has a slight oval shape measuring 13 1/4\" x 12 1/2\" and stands about 3 3/4\" tall. The masher is 16\" long with the masher end 2 7/8\" x 2 1/2\" diameter. Both items are in very good condition with the bowl showing scratches from use on the inside and general wear to the finish. The masher has a few tiny splits in the wood but is solid and strong.
