This Globe Trotter Radio Model 8BX6 RCA 1040C was made in New York in 1948. It is a broadcast receiver serial # B110526 AC/DC or battery. It is in very good condition with some scratches on sides and a few on the back. The front is relatively clean. There are no dents, rust or chips. It has a cord inside and all tubes. I couldn\'t get it to work as I have no way of checking the tubes. It measures 13 1/4\" in lengrh, 9 3/4\" in height and 5 1/2\" in width. It weighs about 8lbs. In the inside there is schematic of the parts and tubes. The range is 540-1600 kilocycles. It operates on 115 volts, or battery type VS019. This would be a wonderful addition for a collector with historical history.
