VeryRare Vintage Goebel made Disney Figaro Salt & Pepper Shaker Set from the1950s with the TMK-2 Full Bee Goebel marking and incised with DIS138/A andDIS138/B.

Description: This is an extremelyrare and hard to find Goebel Salt & Pepper Shaker Set. This beautifully painted and cleverly designedset consists of a Figaro shaker and “Basket” shaker. Figaro is playing with a ballof yarn, and fits on top of the Basket base. The bottom of the Figaro is incised with “DIS138B”and contains no other markings. Thebottom of the Basket is incised with”DIS138/B” and includes the TMK-2 Full Beemark with “(R)” registration mark in blue glaze. The Basket is also stamped with “© WG” (withoutthe crown) in blue glaze and “Germany” in black glaze. The side of the Basket is further incisedwith “DISNEY © WG” on one side, and a foil sticker, printed with blue ink, onthe other side that reads “WALT DISNEY FIGARO CHARACTER WDP F fm. ©”. Both arecomplete w/cork stoppers.

Size: Figaro is approximately 2½\" tall. The basket is approximately 1¼” tall and 2½\" wide diameter.

Condition: Used. THERE IS A CHIP MISSING FROM THE TIP OF FIGARO’S LEFTEAR – Please examine photos carefully.Also note the white patch on Figaro’s left elbow incorrectly appears tobe a chip in the photographs, but is not a chip; it is shiny and glazed smooth.Other than the “ear chip”, I can find no other visible breaks or repairs. Corksare both present and have not been removed or replace by us.
