Angel with bird candle holder made by Goebel from the artistic works of Austrian artist Maria Spotl.
This piece features an angel holding a candle looking down at a bird. Perfect condition without crazing, chips or other damage. Note the color of the angel\'s eyes which are blue and appears to have been used on some if not all of the Spotl angel figurines. The crown mark (1923 - 1937) and mold number 18 are incised on the underside of the base along with the Full Bee TMK 2 and \"Germany.\" The name \"Spotl\" is incised on the top of the base near the angel\'s feet.The height of the piece is 3 1/2\" and 2\" at the widest point of the base.
