The person who had this before had anchored it down to a shelf with some of that blue sticky stuff that keeps a figurine from falling over if it gets pushed. I\'ve been carefully taking it off (it doesn\'t harm the metal) and it will come to you clean of if it.
There is some wear on the ears and the top of the head of the cat, but not too much.
Just shy of 11\" long I\'d be more inclined to keep it on the shelf rather than knock it about in a book.
