This is a most beautiful early 1960\'s Barbie doll. She is in as found original condition, and I will describe as best as I can. She is stamped on her right rear- Barbie TM, and the rest is obscure. I believe she is a #4 issue. The head has no neck splits. She has a flocked scalp and soft bangs. I think there is a single missing hair plug above her left ear, but am not sure, hard to tell. The bright blonde hair is nicely done in a pinned updo. The pins have tiny pearl heads, so maybe this is a factory updo? She has very minor green ear on each side. The face is beautiful. There is a bitsy black smudge line under her left eye. I do not know if she was made that way. The head and body need a gentle cleaning. The arms and legs are the same color as the body, overall even tanish color. The arms and legs are tight and hold poses well. The nail color is excellent. She comes straight from the original household with her swimsuit, correct black heels, and her sunglasses. The heels are not split, and one is marked JAPAN on the bottom. There is nothing wrong with the swimsuit, and it is not tagged. Someone out there will love her in a vintage display. Please feel free to ask additional questions.
