REDUCED!This is a very rare and appealing liquor decanter. As one can see from the pictures it is quite distinctive. However, the information we look for about such items, is scarce. I\'ll tell you a quick background as to how I came to have this vintage liquor decanter. Two boxes of liquor and wine containers were passed down to me from my father. He was born in 1920, and was a veteran of World War Two. We lived in Oklahoma after the war for several years. Many of the bottles have the stamp showing that the Oklahoma liquor lisence had been properly paid. Then there are bottles that appear to have been purcased in the eary 1950\'s. In the mid- 50\'s, we moved to Colorado. It is my guess that my father bought this decanter in the late 40\'s and/or early 50\'s. However, that is a best guess for this decanter. It has no markings, except around the edges of the bottom of the base. With a magnifying glass I could make out a warning, \"Federal law foroffers sale or reuse of this bottle.\" Bottles with this warning would have been made from the 1930\'s to the 1960\'s.
Condition: The decanture is in excellent condition. It comes with its original stopper. I have examined it carefully and see noblemishes. It could proudly be displayed or just kept among a collection. Very Nice!

Description: The decanter is a sold light green glass throughout. The stopper which is still beautifully attached is also green andundamaged. There are no markings as to the manufacture of the piece. Not only the green color but the decoration on it is especially appealing. On the front of the bottle, there are sixwhite shields around gold- embossed lions painted in varying positions. That is what draws one\'s attention to this decanter. It reminded me of European family shields or coats of arms that they used so long ago. It is intruiguing and handsome.
