Up for sale is a true treasure, a very rare Empire Guerlain flacon with Sillage Perfume (parfum).I do not know how old the bottle is. The flacon is from my own collection. I have done some research about this perfume and found the following information on theguerlainperfumes.blogspot.com: \'Sillage\' perfume was created by Jacques Guerlain in 1906, in French it refers to the wake of a ship and the trail of fragrance when someone walks by. Discontinued, date unknown. It is classified as a musky floral fragrance for women. White flowers over the Guerlinade accord with leather, musk and woodsy notes. Later editions included aldehydes in the top notes.Top notes: aromatic notes, jusmine, bergamot, orange.Middle notes: jasmine, rose, clove, tuberose, ylang ylang, leather, spices, civet, deer muskBase notes: musk, ambergris, tonka bean.The Empireflacon measures approx. 3\" X 2 1/4\" and contains 2.7 OZ (80ml).
