Vintage but like new, this Atlas turntable and motor drive will add a lot of layout variations. They are specified as used due to not being sealed, but they have never been in operation. The turntable box shows some compacting, but everything pictured is present and tested.

The box reads: \"9\" diameter table; smooth operation; 11 track positions; Geneva movement locks table in exact position every time; lines up with track using 1/4\" roadbed\".

The included instructions are very helpful with layout and wiring - several options are diagrammed (see pictures). Planning is essential. The motor may be connected to your 12v DC fixed terminals and isolated with a reversing switch (Atlas 210 Twin is shown) or controlled with a separate reversing power source. The turntable may be operated manually by itself until wiring is completed.

In the past, presence of a turntable meant a lot of railroading activity. Larger steam engine service locations required one of these during the \"Age of Steam\".
