DESCRIPTION: Magnificent vintage Mid Century Modern Hollywood Regency, Chinese brass lotus flower sculpture. This piece is done in the style of Tommi Parzinger’s for Feldman iconic hanging lotus lamp. It is huge, has great detail, and is attached to a ornately carved wood Chinese style stand. We estimate this to be from perhaps the early 1960‘s. The patina is as found, and has not been polished, we will leave that to you. When we removed the brass from wood base we discovered that it is stamped MADE IN HONG KONG, and still has the original paper label with the item number B 206. These pieces are very scarce, and not easy to come by. If you love the lotus chandelier, or have one, this is a fabulous companion piece. We found on 1stdibs a petite table in the form of a lotus blossom with several stems and flowers, each with engraved and embossed detailing, which was very similar in design to our piece. The base of that petite table was stamped \"Made in Hong Kong/Made Exclusively for Carole Stupell\", and was estimated to be circa 1960.

SIZE/WEIGHT: Stands 25.5” tall, 13 1/8” wide on the lily pad bowl, approximately 17” wide from flower to flower. 5 lb. 1.75 oz.

CONDITION: Very Good - Excellent vintage. The smaller lily pad leaf is loose or not attached tightly, it turns around when moved. The brass has some wear and or discoloration in some places, there is a very slight indentation in lily pad base, and the finish of the wood stand has some wear, but this is all minor in our opinion.
