Vintage Hallmarked Silver Propelling Pencil c1933
This sterling silver propelling pencil is in excellent condition with just a very small shallowdent on the top end. This you may be able to see in photo 5 to the right of the hallmark that is in the centre. This pencil was a gift to my Grandmother on her wedding day back in August 1933. As far as I know it has never been used and has never been cleaned as you can see by the tarnish on it. The hallmark is for William Suckling of Albion Street and Vyse Street in Birmingham. The date letter \"J\" is for 1933. So in other words this pencil has been in my family from new.
