This is for a solid silver, hallmarked pencil by William Manton.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1956 (on both the main section and the cap) and makers mark W M LD
Measures 4.8\" in length and total weight is 18.7g
The clip for hooking onto a pocket etc is missing so will need a replacement. There are some dents near the point end and there is a mark on the cap, all as pictured. I have not tried it with lead but when you turn the cap, it pushes the internal piece upwards and downwards.
